I'm Leaving...

I'm Leaving!

...Well, perhaps moving would be a better way to describe it!

What better way to end January, than to complete a goal I had set myself 2017!
Not bad eh??

So I haven't been happy with my blog address for some time and I decided that rather than have the complication of changing my domain, it was time to shift my blog over to the same platform as my Website. It just kind of makes sense having everything under one roof, so to speak!

I have neglected this blog for too long really and it's time for me to share a bit more of me than only completed paintings, which take me a long time to do! So that's another goal; To make my Blog a little more interesting!

Like sneaky previews of work in progress, for example...

My very first post on the new blog is up today, where I explain  exactly why my domain address here bothers me so much!

Of course I really hope you continue to follow along on my new site and so I don't feel lonely in the 'new place', I would love it if you would come over and say hi!

So I really hope to see you over there. Just click here to come find me!
And please, let me know if you think the new blog is nicer! I'd love to hear your thoughts!

  1. Good idea! I've been thinking of doing the same, not being happy with the blogger platform for some time. I'll keep following you. Happy move!

    1. Thank you Judy! I'd love to know what you think og the new blog... Still some tweaking to do, but I need to learn how to do some things as it's all new. I'd be interested to know why you're also not happy with Blogger anymore and what platform you are thinking of going to? And don't forget to let me know where your new blog is if you do it! :0)

  2. Great move :) I've been wanting to create a new blog on a different platform for the last two or three years, and it's on my goals list again for this year.
And my other big goal for this year is to finally get into oil painting (I know, I've said it before, but this time I mean it!). So I'm looking forward to seeing and reading more of you on your new blog. I'll certainly keep my eyes open for any tip or trick on oil painting :)

  3. I guess I should have left that comment on your new blog :) I'm going to update your link on my blog now

    1. Lol, yes you are! I almost missed this comment altogether! I have put a link to your blog on my side bar too Kay, so I won't lose track of you either!
Now I have finally made the move, I'm really happy I did. It makes a much more seemless link between my site and my blog and it seems cleaner somehow.
I'm going to post at least twice a week on my new blog too and make the posts a little more fun. I'm also going to make it more worthwhile for visitors to take the time to vist... Maybe share some studio tips, videos, link back to other peoples bogs sometimes... That's the plan anyway. Good luck with the move... Don't wait! You'll be glad you did it :0)

Thank you so much for leaving a comment! Where possible I will respond via email. I really do love to read them! They always make me smile ;0)
