I'm Leaving...

I'm Leaving!

...Well, perhaps moving would be a better way to describe it!

What better way to end January, than to complete a goal I had set myself 2017!
Not bad eh??

So I haven't been happy with my blog address for some time and I decided that rather than have the complication of changing my domain, it was time to shift my blog over to the same platform as my Website. It just kind of makes sense having everything under one roof, so to speak!

I have neglected this blog for too long really and it's time for me to share a bit more of me than only completed paintings, which take me a long time to do! So that's another goal; To make my Blog a little more interesting!

Like sneaky previews of work in progress, for example...

My very first post on the new blog is up today, where I explain  exactly why my domain address here bothers me so much!

Of course I really hope you continue to follow along on my new site and so I don't feel lonely in the 'new place', I would love it if you would come over and say hi!

So I really hope to see you over there. Just click here to come find me!
And please, let me know if you think the new blog is nicer! I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Happy Belated New Year!

'One For the Road'

10" x 12" Original Oil Painting on Stretched Fine Cotton Canvas

Available

Happy New Year to you all!

A little belated, I know... and let's face it, it already feels like it was ages ago, but this is my first post of 2017 and I am wishing you all wonderful things for the New Year.

I've never quite comprehended the phrase 'One for the Road'... After all, 'the road' is the last place anyone should be after consuming alcohol!

I started painting this just before Christmas and as you can imagine, when I came back to it once the festivities were over, it was just about the last subject I needed to be looking at! But, they made an interesting subject to paint; All the dents, bumps and scuffs... I enjoyed it!

Next in line is a new marble painting, this time quite large... And I have several other paintings in mind to be getting on with as each layer dries.

So, watch this space and I'll be back again soon!
