More Fishy Business...

Here is another little fella I painted for the February Naked Challenge. I thought I'd share it over here while I am busy completing my Cocktail Glass...

8" x 8" Oil on Gesso Panel

I love painting Goldfish... Those shiny scales and the little bubbles are a pleasure to paint!
...And there is a third I will share with you some time soon :0)

Happy painting all!

    1. Thanks Hilda! I think it is a Butterfly-fish too. I used to have fish when I was little. Now I prefer to see them swim in ponds :0)

    1. Funny you should say that Susan - I thought of doing this a while a go! But then I forgot all about it... (clearly I have the memory of a goldfish) - but you have just reminded me! I should do that some day. I'll put it on my inspiration list :0)

  8. Sorry i just realised that sweet sounds really patronising which is not what i mean at all. the goldfish IS sweet but the painting is beautiful and i love the wee bubbles! .

    1. Lol, I know what you meant Nic and I know you well enough that you wouldn't mean anything in a patronizing way... I enjoyed painting the bubbles ;0)
