Bloggy birthday...!

This weekend is a special one, because tomorrow (Sunday), it will be 'Sandraws' birthday!!!

Exactly one year ago tomorrow, I published the very first post on my brand new blog; This sketch of my kitchen...

© Sandra Busby. Pen and Watercolour.

I was absolutely delighted when I received my first ever comment from Laura at Laurelines!
Those of you who love to look at sketches, would love her lively blog and should definitely pay her a visit :0)

From the very beginning my blog has been an honest one and I have posted the good, the bad and the utterly embarrassing!

Anyway, before I go, I'd love to know what you would like to see more of over the coming year  - after all, we all have different tastes and I'd like to be able to offer something for everyone :0)
So, what would you like to see? More sketches, perhaps (I haven't done many over the last year)? Or maybe you would like to see more art in a particular style such as abstract?
Or perhaps you might have a suggestion on how I could improve my blog -  I'd love to know!

Anyway, here's to another fun-filled year of blogging!

  10. Hello Sandra, thanks for your comment. The moment you're living is hard. I've been there. I always studied a lot and at one point had to forget everything that was studied in order to make art.
Art as a form of expression is something beyond technique - she uses the technique.
We can not allow the academic barriers prevent the progression of creation. We must overcome our own critique. During the creative act can not make assessments and judgments.
You are talented and will surely achieve the objective.
    Best wishes and much success!

  16. Happy 1st bloggy birthday. I'm only a recent follower but i do loveto share the honesty of what makes another artist tick (still feel a fraud calling myself an artist as it isn't my career but not sure how else to describe what i do) anyway i love your paintings and look forward to more of the same over the next year.
